Benedict Cumberbatch, Joe Sugg and Zoella donate to #Boxathon

We’re really pleased to announce that our #Boxathon charity auction, in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust, is up and running. Since launching the campaign last week, we’ve had thousands of Benedict Cumberbatch and Joe Sugg fans lurching around the #Boxathon website, plotting their way to owning the Gucci sunglasses, Modalu bags, signed exclusive book pages, headphones and other knicknacks that they have so kindly put up for auction.

The idea for the auction is simple. At this moment, our blue #Boxathon box is travelling the streets of London, collecting items that vloggers, bloggers and celebrities have offered up to the cause.

On Saturday, June 27, at 9am, we’ll set our auction live, and you’ll be able to bid on any of the items, with all proceeds going straight to Teenage Cancer Trust.

And we need you to help share the news! We’re on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram, and – in case you hadn’t noticed already – we’re using the hashtag #Boxathon.

You can see a full list of the items we’ve received so far by heading to the donations page over at #Boxathon, but as a quick heads-up, you’ll find a signed book from Youtube queen, Zoe Sugg (AKA Zoella), jewelry from Made in Chelsea‘s Rosie Montague, these Nike Air Max trainers from the same show’s Oliver Proudlock…

…and a great pair of signed gloves from legendary boxer, Barry McGuigan.

There’s plenty more where that came from too, with more people offering up auction items all the time, and some amazing stories attached to the donations. Check out Gracie Francesca’s emotional video, discussing why she chose to get involved (her story kicks in around 14:03).

And a big thanks to the wonderful Bec Boop, who has been Periscoping, vlogging, blogging and who knows what else, all on our behalf. We love you, Boop!

We also had a wonderful donation from Lily Pebbles, fashion vlogger extraordinaire.

Last, but by no means least, here’s the excellent Joe Sugg himself. Isn’t he a sweetie?

If you’re interested in donating something to #Boxathon, get in touch with us via the contacts page.

That’s all for now, and we hope to see you on June 27, helping us to raise that cash.
