Sony first released the Playstation™ back in 1994, following in 2000 with the Playstation 2 (PS2). In 2004 we saw the introduction of the new 'slimline' PS2. As its name suggests, this was thinner but also smaller and quieter and included an Ethernet port. Sony first released Playstation 3 (PS3) in 2006, this being quite a step forward and featuring Blue Ray disc and full HD resolution graphics capability. The Playstation has been released with anything from 20GB to 320GB capacity (160GB and 320GB are current). Rumours of a "Playstation 4 (PS4)?... Watch this space!!
