It would seem that the process of getting your house looking nice for sale now has a catchy buzz phrase. Yes indeed, ‘home staging’ is big business now – we’ve spoken about it many times on The Box Room before, most notably with Sarah Beeny – but we’re always up for learning new vocabulary, and we’ve always go room for more declutter chatter.

So we’re pleased to be able to share this natty little diagram from our buddies over at Wayfair, offering a few quick wins when it comes to home staging.

We’re particularly taken with the ‘Clear the Clutter’ section (naturally) – a big part of life when it comes to better living in small spaces – and we’d like to add (again, naturally!) that decluttering for a bout of home staging doesn’t necessarily mean saying goodbye to all of your stuff. Give us a call, drop it in a Boxman box and we’ll look after it until you’re ready to find a new place for it. Heck, we’ll even hold onto it until you’ve bought your new place, and then we’ll deliver it to you there, safe and sound.
